Dave Schwaller was born in Templeton, Iowa. As a young boy he began working at Templeton International airport as a shoe shine boy. He was very good at his craft. Unfortunately there was an accident. He was cleaning the wax off of Tom Dempsey's shoe with his pocket knife and chopped off half his foot. It worked out great for Tom, but ruined Swall's shoe shine career. Swalls decided to run away and stowed on a plane to London. Jimi Hendrix and Chas Chandler happened to be on that flight. They discovered Swalls hiding in the luggage bay and asked him to jam at the studio with them. He was the illusive fourth member of the Jimi Hendrix Experience. Unfortunately Swalls passed away at 27. Some say he sold his soul to the devil to play with Hendrix. Someone must not have liked him down there and kicked him out. He returned to life and decided to move back to Templeton where he became a founding member and spiritual guru of Aged Spirits.

Pre is a professional body builder. His brother Geno moved to California. Their other brother Bill had locked Pre in the trunk of Geno's car (unbeknownst to Geno). Pre survived the ride, but was badly malnourished. To get his strength up he began lifting weights on Venice Beach. He started a training company and began his personal training career. He trained Lou Ferrigno, Sylvester Stalone, and the Governor of California. One day there was a cage match with Pre, Lou, Sly, and the Terminator. Guess who won. Pre decided at that point he was the strongest man in the world. He moved back to Iowa and stopped lifting weights after he learned to play the bass. He is now the back bone to the rhythm section and chief bouncer.
While watching an episode of Gilligan's Island Geno fashioned his first PA system out of 40 coconuts, some twine, a car battery, and some duct tape. Some thought that was impossible, well it wasn't. After this he started working for Bose sound systems creating their lines of car audio systems. He wanted to be in the live music world though. He moved to California with Ron and got a job at A&R. He became the sound man for a number of large touring acts. Remember Milli Vanilli? Geno was such a great sound man he made them sound good, and they weren't even singing. Who was? Rumors say it was the sound guy, I guess we will never know. Geno stole a mixing board while on tour with the Rolling Stones and headed back to Iowa to settle down and raise a family. He is now the sound man, chief roady, light man, and all around mentor for Aged Spirits.
John Horbach grew up as a relatively normal Templeton, Iowa boy on Kid’s Street. John’s one goal in life was to become mayor of Providence, Rhode Island. Then one night, everything changed when he heard the syncopated beat of his Mom’s washing machine during its spin cycle, that’s when he knew his aspirations were to play the drums. John found four different sized Rubbermaid wastebaskets and his first drumming session started. After many years of practice and many Rubbermaid wastebaskets later, he decided to forget the Providence thing and as a toddler pursued playing the drums for the Grateful Dead. After experiencing that, he was grateful to be alive and started drumming for Aged Spirits.
